Artist's Comments
In order to help shed some important light despite the controversy and heated anger that was caused among perhaps *so* many artists over the copying/tracing issue that was first stirred through that recent piece of dA staff news entitled CEA UPDATE 20090130; Issues Involving Copying ([link]), I just personally believe in the fact that on deviantART, we are really all about an entire worldwide art community whose artworks and photography well-represent the sheer passion, heart, and drive of what the freedom of expression and sheer creativity is rather all about in such amazingly innovative new ways indeed, and NEVER through art theft or ripping off another artists work at all.
Such being said, I just simply decided to break my silence and release this original and special motivator of a stamp piece that I have now created entitled Imagine and Innovate, which promises and encourages artists to bring home the true meanings of how artworks are meant to be created in such growing and increasingly fascinating and much bolder new heights indeed in order to make it ones own original work, and such works like this take a WHOLE lot of time, effort, hard work, and sheer determination, rather instead of copying and ripping off another persons work directly... and more details on what I am talking about can be found in this following journal of mine right here: [link] Back to this newest stamp design now. The reference in creating this stamp piece comes from my own previous artwork from September 2008 entitled Brea Woman Awakening ([link]), which reminds you good and well that when you most seriously take something imaginative and come up with something rather special and perhaps so gorgeously fascinating as well as stepping up the level of quality with each new art/photography design that you create, you actually get BETTER AND BETTER as the true and blossoming artist that you are supposed to be... now that is innovation, about deeply reaching for such all-new and uncharted heights indeed!!! Better than directly imitating, tracing, copying, or ripping another persons artwork without permission, isnt it now? I just want to be as positive and supportive about art as I can in general, and I am as clearly damn honest as I can be as well, and that is *exactly* what this stamp piece is originally designed for in the first place. And just that alone. Be sure to so truly and richly enjoy this original all-new stamp piece, and do not forget to post it up in your own journals if you can to let people know and be aware of this ever-important issue at hand here!!! And remember, ladies and gentlemen: INNOVATE, not imitate!!! =================================================================== © 2 0 0 9 A d i g u n A z i k i w e P o l a c k .
